ROTARY 3020 in action- Cleaning Vizag ZOO

Rotary Dist 3020 has got 14 clubs in and around Visakhapatnam, Members who are interested from all these Rotary Clubs grouped together for cleaning the Devastated , deserted Visakhapatnam Zoo, . Hon'ble Minister Ganta Srinivasarao Inaguarated the program.. Rotarians, all swung into action along with their possible family members Participation from Morning 8.30 am to 1.pm the logs are collected and heaped, the debris is loaded into tractor , Ladies along with children actively participated in the activity.

GLOW n BPCL Initiative-HUD HUD relief operation- Tree Guards distributed along with Plants

All of us are talking about Rebuild Vizag, Bring Back Green Vizag. Glow and Bharat Petroleum took initiative from these captions and pooled funds from different parts and immediately rised to the cause Plants saplings are being distributed by different organisations, but protecting the plant by way of providing TREE GUARDS is the need of the hour Urgently 500 Plastic barrels were deployed and were modified as Tree guards, plant saplings were procured from Kadiyam, Rajahmundry, For creating the awareness on the initiative Minister for Sports Sri Atchammnaidu, M.P Srikakulam Sri Rammohannaidu, Gajuwaka M.L.A Sri Palla Srinivas, B.P.C.L Territory Mnager Sri Suresh, GVMC officials attended the program Since the event is publicised in the news paper before hand , Locals from different communities came forward and registered themselves and too the tree guards The people who recieved the tree guards expressed thanks for our concern and requested many more organisations to help vizag to go GREEN. Dear All who are recieving my mails could kindly rise to the occassion and help VIZAG TO BRING BACK its GREENARY each tree guard costed us 640 rs... we are working for low cost tree guards and any such ideas and solutions are welcome and GLOW is at vizag to implement such ideas on behalf of YOU The names of the donors are not listed , Since they requested us to do so

Swatch Bharat at Anuradha Auto

As a part of swatch Bharat We garlanded Gandhiji and took pledge at our outlet Our territory manager visited the outlet, and addressed the Gathering of our Sales Staff . From Anuradha auto we are providing Assistance for four poor students to study Intermediate in association with NRI Academy , Annual fees on a subsidised cheques each worth Rs 12,500/- are disbursed by our territory manager, Quality and Quantity checks are conducted in the outlet Free petrol of 100/- is given to customers on purchase of 1 litre engine oil on the occassion of dasara festival.

Dr Sardar Gouthu Latchanna's 105th Jayanthi celebrations

Andhra Pradesh State Government issued a special G O to celebrate Dr Sardar Gouthu Latchanna's 105th Jayanthi in Srikakulam District on this 16th August 2014. In the past 6 years 25 statutes are erected across Andhra Pradesh and 5 statues are ready for opening People all across Andhra Pradesh celebrated the occassion and remembered SARDAR's participation in freedom struggle, his involvement for uplifting back ward classes, fighting for the rights of labour and safeguarding farmers. Srikakulam Dt collector , Honorable minister Sri Atchannaidu and all district administration across the district paid homage to the great soul. leaders from all parties in all districts paid homage to SARDAR.

GLOW-NATS initiative

I would Like to give an insight of GLOW initiative Unfortunately Mr. Abinay Reddy from Karimnagar Dt Found dead in a swimming pool in USA. NATS( North America Telugu Society) took lead on the incident n made all arrangements to bring back the body to India and handed over to parents. A fund raising is conducted to help Abhinay's Family by NATS @ 60 Lakhs is collected , in that 8 lakhs is spent for the body transport and the remaining 52 lakhs is handed over to parents in the presence of A P Chief minister sri Chandra Babu along with Sri Alapati Rajendra Prasad GLOW(Gouthu Latchanna Org For Weaker Sections) our NGO helped NATS in between by accepting the inward fund collection and making it possible to give to Abhinay's Parents NATS n GLOW wanted to do joint programs in rural parts of North Coastal A P

My wife Sireesha is a probable candidate from Palasa Assembly constituency in the forth coming Assembly elections.. she kick started her political carrer by participating in the canvass of Palasa-Kasibugga Muncipal elections campaign . Merit Scholarships to intermediate and degree Students at Baruva College

Every year GLOW is giving merit scholarships to Intermediate and Degree students of BARUVA College for their outstanding performance in the end exams . A certificate, medal and cheque of Rs 3,116/- for Intermediate and Rs 5,116/- for Degree student is awarded 7 such students from Intermediate and Degree are screened and honoured on the 33rd Annual day of the college this year the program is conducted in the college and a good gathering of the village heads, lectureres and students attended the program

ARRIVE ALIVE- TRAFFIC AWARENESS PROGRAM

Visakhapatnam Traffic Police conducted a Traffic awareness program for a week under the tag name ARRIVE ALIVE the idea of the campaign is to create traffic awareness to all vehicle riders, on wearing helmet, wearing seat belt,following traffic rules and all we from ANURADHA AUTO, GLOW, SARDAR NEST, YASODHA SOCIETY participated in various programs under ARRIVE ALIVE and supported the concept we printed stickers, decorated our petrol bunk with traffic slogans, safety n traffic messages are printed and distributed in main juctions, audio visual presentations are made at R K Beach for entire week, respected people with flowers who wear seat belt and helmets, created awareness in all junctions by erecting big hoardings Police Commisioner Visakhapatnam, Sri Sivadhar Reddy inaguarated our programs by seeing our sincere efforts Traffic police of Visakhapatnam recommended our name to police commisioner and they rewarded us before vizagites.

BPCL Foundation Day on Jan 24th

On the eve of BPCL Foundation Day on Jan 24th we organised various activities We all participated in a rally on the beach, giving slogans on Oil Conservation and Patroniging BHARAT PETROLEUM At our outlet we Organised a discounted sales Campaign of Lubricants and sold 30169 lts to customers on a single day and this is all time record for Bharat Petroleum. In the evening a big event is organised at our petrol bunk and a lucky draw is taken and the winners are called upon the dias and prizes were distributed .

PULSE POLIO DAY

On this Jan 13th India achieved Status of POLIO FREE NATION, Still Government of India does not want to take any chance This Jan 19th Government of India gave a call for pulse polio sunday to administer polio vaccine to Children below 5 years Greater Visakha Muncipal Corporation is shortage of Polio Vaccine Carrier flasks and from our NGO Gouthu Latchanna Organisation for weaker sections , we donated 100 such flasks worth Rs 12,000/- to GVMC on the pulse polio day I and my club members visited the local booths and encouraged the volunteers I am the Rotary Pulse Polio Cordinator for Vizag District offcourse, at my petrol bunk we conducted the polio vaccination camp Still polio is in Nigeria, Pakistan and Afganisthan

BPCL First awareness program

As a part of BPCL FIRST.. we organised a awareness program at our Petrol bunk ANURADHA AUTO. As apart of the program we conducted quality and quantity checks of the fuel , Lubricants incentives, Gas stoves and related LPG products display and sale. the idea is to get more awareness of BPCl brand in petrol/diesel/lubricants/LPG products and all under one umbrella. the program went on well and all the customers benefited from the program and got clarified on many issues
